Last day of the course and the wind was forecast to increase to 25 kts by the afternoon. Spent the morning doing the admin and signing off certificates (congrats to Ian on getting Level 4). Peter Hart had invited us to join his loop off as part of his looping video so I thought this is the peer pressure I need to finally go over the handlebars.

Had loads of runs but never got powered up enough and struggled to stay upwind. The forecast had not materialized by 5pm and I had a long drive back so I derigged. Ironically the wind seemed to pick up but it was only a brief flurry.

It was good to catch up with my old sailing buddies from when I lived in Rhosneigr and the RAF guys. Back to work on Monday for 2 weeks before we all head to Tiree, can't wait.
